It is tricky - it amazes me how many people can't spell the name of the car they are selling even when it is written on the car. In fact some people actually search for items like this in the hope of getting a bargain. I saw someone advertise a metel lathe yesterday, and just checked and sure enough there are 7 hits for stationery engines (I think they must make envelopes) ! Even my web browser has underlined 'metel' and is suggesting the correct spelling.

In advanced search you can actually exclude individual sellers, which is useful if someone is in the habit of advertising items every day that match, but for the wrong reason. You can restrict to the UK, and you can set a minimum price, though I think that might be the starting price, and anyone might start an auction at 99p just to get people going. You can also restrict searches to categories, and if you need more than one category then save more than one search. Set them up to e-mail you the results.

And if you spot something that you may not want, but others might appreciate, then post a note here, in the For Sale section.
