For those of you who don't have a complete history of your car, I have just acquired some old Marcos Owners Club mags dating back about 20 years. They are
excellent quality with lots of colour pictures and for a lot of the events (especially the timed events) they list all the cars by registration number, and I
will be happy to look up someone's pride and joy and see if I can find it. I might even find a picture if it is a star car as they were pretty generous
with the colour photos back then.
The reason I bought them is more the excellent articles - I think more of the owners were 'kit' car builders back then and people were doing all sorts themselves. Making anti-roll bars for the suspension, making roll hoops for racing, making their own petrol tanks, making front suspension arms, moulding air dams, even supercharging the V6 !!
Its great to see some of the same faces that were active then are still centre-stage in the club now - fantastic.
