Whilst I agree that our cars have nice sounding exhausts, people who run Hill Climbs and Track days have other ideas. They typically want a noise limit of ca 95 - 100db ( at 18in/0.5m) My car is ca 105-110db with standard Marcos Exhaust. I have tried inserts from Carbuilder - no effect. Has any body else solved this problem eg fitting a different silencer or extra silencers. I am of course going to do more track-days and join the HSA (Hill-climb and sprint association) so need to reduce the sound level preferably without reduce power!
