Hi --l have recently noticed when the engine is idling -a noise !-when depressing the clutch pedal -gone ! From past experience on a range of cars -sounds
like the clutch thrust bearing.
However, an old BMW l ran for years without replacing it ---but with the 3.9 V8 / drive set up ,should l be panicking and sorting out a quick replacement >(the Mantara only has c.24,000 miles on the clock )- How easy is it / straightforward dropping the gearbox---could "Mr. Clutch " type places cope with the job?
Or could it be something else ?
