POWDER COATING AGGGHH ! |

Having just replace both chassis sides and out riggers the full length on each side, I have to say Mr Marsh must have got the worst powder coaters in our fair
land to do his work. Mind you I was warned. Really happy with the finished job just can't believe how badly these cars can rust.

I am using an Epoxy-Mastic coating to the steel followed by a cavity injection with Dinitrol 3125, then I'll give the whole lot a further coat of
Dinitrol 4941 underbody wax......... This one is for keeps.

Dinitrol is certainly good stuff - I have sometimes wondered if you could follow it with that expanding foam stuff and completely fill the hollow sections.
Another daft thought that sometimes crosses my mind is to direct an engine breather vent into chassis sections and allow the oil mist to travel where it will.
There's a lot of talk these days about green transport. Well, I am ahead of the game, I already have green transport ... British racing green.
