My Marcos lasks a sunroof, and I find that in the Summer it gets very hot, and I've always thought a sunroof would be a welcome addition. Add the this my headlining has "dropped" over the winter... and it appears nearly impossible to do anything about it without removing one or both of the screens. A large hole in the roof would obviously allow access to secure the headlining - hence the search for an after market sunroof.
Good old e bay finally turned one up - and having previously (many years ago) fitted one to a tin box, I was already to go this weekend to ensure the car would be ready for the 50th meet. Now my bottle is twitching, the Marcos (Mantula) roof has a curve much greater than that of the sunroof. On a tin box this probably wouldn't be too much of a problem, as the roof (especially with a hole in it) is fairly flexible, but I'm concerned that the Marcos roof is much stiffer and won't meet the sunroof at the edges, or the strain will be detremental to the roof.
Does anyone have any experience of sunroofs, and what does and desn't fit and any pitfalls.
