Would love to go to the Festival of speed but the tickets are incredibly high priced. Is there a discount code or anything ?

 This event is a very famous and sort after event
and attracts celebrities, i doubt very much there are any discounts available etc, start saving i reckon!

The Daily Telegraph used to do offers for free/cheap tickets for the Friday. Don't know if they still do but might be worth keeping a look out.

Why not consider the Cholmondesley Pageant of Power on 18th / 19th July as an alternative. Only in it`s second year but rapidly developing to be a Goodwood for
oop north . Similar background , stately home with Bugatti racing connections, specialist race track built, high performance cars, high performance boat racing
on the lake , aircraft etc etc. and a fraction of the price of Goodwood.
The Sporting Bears are Dream Riding there this year for first time at this event and I`m taking the Mantara so hoping for a successful event. |

Good for you Mike i know you have actively got involved with this charity, some time in the future i would like to give any terminally ill child a ride in the
LM! I know they would absolutely love it, I have two young girls myself and they take the cars for granted a bit!!! but it would give me a sense of well bieng
doing my bit for the unfortunate!!

Thanks boycey , why not join the Bears , your LM 600 would go done down right well at Dream Rides. Only problem would be no one would want to ride in my boring

Your absolutely right though mate, it does rather bring you down to earth when you see what some of these youngsters endure with grace . Makes me realise
how lucky I am and that I shouldn`t winge so much about trivial things - but still do , to my shame !

Clubs get in free at the Pageant of Power- the Mini Marcos club were there last year and will be this year. Is the MOC or CMI having a separate stand ? I will
certainly be there as I am quite local - in fact too local to have a decent drive to get there ! If you want to come by helicopter there is a very large
helicopter park (!!).
I am not sure about the Festival of Speed, but will be at the Goodwood Revival Festival in September. That isn't exactly cheap at about £50, but then I am told people pay that much to watch 90 minutes of football, how can that compare with a whole day at Goodwood ? Steve
