Help Required - Need Photos of The Footwell Area

Specifically I need something showing where the fibreglass footwell sits in relation to the chassis at the front outer corner (ie. behind the wheel, under the pedal box cover or battery tray). Currently working on the roll cage mounts and need to have an idea where the body goes when it's being fitted. I've got photos of pretty everything BUT this area so if anyone has a suitable piccy it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris.

Registered Member Posts: 50 Wed, 6-Jan-2010 12:59	Chris, i don't quite understand where you are trying to tie into but directly behind where the check straps screw into the body is the chassis upright (which i assume you are trying to connect to). if you take the screws out you can poke a small screwdriver through and feel the upright. from the top of the upright a chassis tube runs forward to connect onto the end of the tube that goes directly infront of the bulkhead at the back of the engine bay and at the same height as the tube around the foot well just below the bulkhead tube. if you need any specific photos pm me your email address with what you want and i will try and sort them out. mark Last Edited By: Super Charged gt400 Mon, 11-Jan-2010 12:26. Registered Member Posts: 1375 Mon, 8-Feb-2010 12:15	I figured it out in the end. The result is a fairly drastic one, but it solves a lot of problems. Simply chop the footwells off! I was going to remove the engine side of the footwells anyway to make more room for the exhaust manifolds, so removing the front and the outside isn't that much of a leap... (I hope) I'll just attach panels to the chassis to replace the bits removed. While I love this project, I find the more I do, the more I need to do. Chris.
