I have just changed my 2.0 turbo for a 4.2 perhaps I'm getting to old but at parking speeds the steering is pretty heavy so I thought it would be a good
winter project to upgrade to power steering. has anybody done this any advice would be most welcome

First time I've heard of a Mantara without powered steering? I thought it was standard.

All you need is the discovery steering pump and mounting bracket a couple of pipes, a fluid reservoir and the sierra power steering rack. Assuming you have a
serpentine engine a longer auxillary drive belt. Although I was told even if you chose not to have AC they still fitted the pump and used it as an idler pulley
to ensure the right wrap for the belt.

Think it was circa £200 to remove the rack and replace the seals and then refit, no problems since, will try find the original invoice. Worth giving them a
ring I suspect
