Hi Guys....Why is it so difficult to post pictures on this forum??? Argh!
I'm trying desperately to identify the origins of one of my cars. She started as a coupe body, on a steel chassis No 8143, sometime in the 80's, however she had a distinctive power bulge but ONLY on the drivers side.Ist Image Check out my album images to see this bulge (hopefully as I'm not sure if I've set the pictures up correctly...I'm a car fanatic not an I.T. specialist for god's sake!! Sorry frustrated!!)
The original builder successfully equipped the car with BMW engine and gearbox but utilised Triumph front suspension/brakes and Capri rear axle etc. He later removed the power bulge 2nd Image.
I've also included a rearview as I'm sure like some recent pictures on this forum, that this is quite narrow, hence the wheels seem to protrude...again is this due to the original body type?? 3rd Image
I'm hoping somebody on here can help me identify the original body/chassis spec??? Appreciate your help
Thanks
