I need to transport my car, does anyone know if a 1600 wood chassis will fit in a van or what ever?
The engine and suspension have been removed as I am working on the chassis.
I would like to plan how to get the car to a paint shop.
So far I'm still looking for someone who can do good fiberglass work before painting it.
If anyone knows a good paint shop in the north please let me know.

I've used a car courier service to collect cars in the past. If you havn't got suspensions and wheels you will need a dolly to transport or several
helpers to lift. Where in the North of England are you?

Looks like I'll have to make a frame with wheels. About lifting, how heavy? how many helpers needed.

I would guess one on each corner should do it, I assume engine and running gear have been removed + bonnet? The doors also add quite a bit of weight so can be
removed to reduce weight further.The fibreglass body can be fragile so lengths of scaffold pole or 4 x 4 timber under the car to lift, the wheel arches look
tempting but the body is weak in the middle and can snap in 2. Any pics?

Thanks for that, didn't think of removing the doors. Yes all running gear is out including engine and bonnet. Still looking for a body shop though.
