Just booked my tickets 2 for 1 £33 with booking fee. I,m in. Further to the booking for my tickets,i asked about car passes into the area that has been
mentioned for the club,the responce was that as yet they know nothing about the Marcos Club having car passes and that the only club they know about for these
passes are the Jaguar Car Club. But when and if we are later put on the list of invited clubs they will inform or send out the passes with the tickets.

What a bummer ! I`m gonna miss out on this now. Just had my hospital date confirmed for knee joint replacement for 25th Sept. so no fun and games for me for a
couple of months .

Help is needed here!
As I will be out of the country for this event and Jon has other commitments we need ONE OF YOU to act as a co-ordinator! So don't all say "ME ME ME I will do it" at once, but we do need someone to contact "Britcar" and work out what you are getting for your money, and the parade lap details. When you decide who its going to be let me know and I will give you the contact details for Britcar, and the names of a few more owners who are interested. Gary |

Sorry mate, can`t help here as already stated in previous post I will be recovering ( hopefully) from knee replacement operation. This is a masterpiece of bad
planning on the part of the NHS as I miss out on this event , plus Dream Rides at NEC in November plus driving a steam loco I`ve spent last 9 years helping
restore for first time , not to mention the highly publicised newly built multi.. million pound "Tornado" locomotive you may have seen in lots of
media coverage this year . A bit miffed ain`t the half of it but there you go
Hope somebody steps up for it !

Mandy and me have bought our Sat/Sun tickets for £33, and we have managed to bag a guest house 5 mins from the curcuit, so we dont have to drive too far on the
Sat night, looking forward to the weekend, just being there will be good, track laps would have been a bonus but never mind, we managed to miss out last year
as they changed the time on that and we arrived too late, not like us at all !!!

I can do no more but have explaine to Britcar the situation.
Read this through but I can not be involved, it still needs someone to get involved. Gary, No problem, The club tickets give you access from Friday to Sunday with parking in the car club display area next to the grandstand on the Pit's straight and Woodcote Corner. The 2 for 1 tickets if any of your members wanted these would not include entry for their car, the club tickets at £15 do include a car pass. With the parade laps you can either let me know before the event or people can sign up at the event, as long as you collect the money from them. When we sign them onto the circuit we will enquire as to which club they belong and we will then tally the number of bookings with each club and invoice them accordingly. WRT the tickets themselves and car passes for the club parking area, if you can let me know how many of each you will be needing by the 24th September I'll then get these out in the post to you either that day or the 25th to give you sufficient time to get them to your members. At the weekend we will appoint a coordinator to look after all the car clubs so if you want to let me know who the point of contact will be with your club (with yourself out of the country) we can make sure any queries are answered through them. The coordinator will also sort out the signing on for the parade laps and the parking areas for you. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask. Best regards David Hornsey |

Gary pass your info to me i will make time to sort things out as it looks like no one else will.
OK so i understand anyone who as got the 2 for 1 ticket offer needs to tell me so that i can get your club display passes and post them out to you. Anyone who wants just 1 ticket needs to tell me as i have to order these through the club along with your other passes cost is £15 for the weekend. Even if you are not coming in you Marcos you can still get club tickets. If you want the parade laps on Sunday this will cost an extra £20 per car You have until September 25th to let me know after that you are on ya own. So don't delay do it today.

Here's on idea guys
If you don't want to or can't make it for all weekend. Why not just come on Sunday, meet everyone and get to take your car round the Silverstone GP circuit. You don't get the chance to do this to often and for £35 you get to blast around with a group of Marcos. If that's got you thinking you need to act fast and contact me . |

I doubt the LM600 will be on the road for this? but if the car is repaired and a reliable runner, i will take her, get in touch with Richard P as i would go with him, if the LM600 is not a runner i would come up in the Aston instead. |

I shall be racing with Neil Huggins and Jon Harrison in the Topcats Mantis No.35 at the 500 so pop by and say hello! This is the car that led the 24hr last year for a 10 odd hours so we are looking for a result this year. |
