Registered Member Posts: 169 Mon, 24-Aug-2009 12:50	Tags : None All Marcos Owners have been invited to next years annual Porsche rally at Gaydon on June 6th as the invited marque.( some of you will know about my involement with Porsche ). We will also get to use of the test track at Gaydon all day. This is a great chance to up the profile and show everyone Marcos is able to mix with the best. I have pulled a few strings to make this happen so all i need now is for everyone to turn out and show everyone who we are. More details will follow after my next meeting. Registered Member Posts: 735 Mon, 24-Aug-2009 22:55	Coo - is the use of the test track timed ? I hear that it has a 1 mile straight - which means, er... lots of mph ! Funnily enough I was reading an old 1988 Marcos Owners Club mag the other day - they all went for a weekend having timed 1/4 mile runs. It has all the car registration numbers and the owners, and the times. Great idea - I want a day like that. Maybe we should invade Santa Pod one day if Gaydon doesn't do it, or Bruntingthorpe. I like these 'activity' days. Even if you don't participate, it is fun to watch. Steve There's a lot of talk these days about green transport. Well, I am ahead of the game, I already have green transport ... British racing green.
