But the marquee was there, there was bits on the tables, and Gary Harman was busy outside photgraphing the doophers climbing the hill, but no Quiffter, noboby.
Oh well, here's to the next 50 anniversary.

About 1pm, then had a stroll about for a bit, then went photogtraphing, then went home. It was brilliant to see all the cars. Shame the ex Johnathan Palmer car
wasn't on show, that would have been nice.

Bloody Hell Major - you are hard to please !
I was chatting to Q about 11:15pm in his little enclave next to the MOC tent - which was the perfect place to watch the track - and next to the man trying to sell you a Farbio. I think your car has been off the road too long - buy another to make you realise what this is about, and keep you going. If you didn't enjoy the anniversary bash them you have lost touch with the part of you that made you embark on your current project. But if you want to sell it, then drop me a PM. Steve
There's a lot of talk these days about green transport. Well, I am ahead of the game, I already have green transport ... British racing green.

I reckon I got there latest, about 3:30 or so after being lost in Cheltenham driving up for an hour!
Still managed 3 hill runs though not without some breakages... nothing major though, the bracket snapped on my stainless washer bottle and it fell onto the steering rack, spending the next few yours being cut to pieces by my alternator belt. Could have been MUCH worse... Never thought to open the bonnet until I got home |
