I have recently replaced the rear tyres on my '96 Mantara 3.9 with Toyos, as the Bridgestones are apparently no longer available in that size. It now seems
a lot less 'planted' and the steering seems less precise. I have had the balance rechecked - all ok.
Has anyone else had this effect and does anyone know the recommended pressure for Toyo rears for normal road use?
Also, following an engine removal/replacement my rev counter has lost its damping. When the car is revved it swings all over the place until it settles down to the final reading - any ideas? How do I know if it has been reconnected correctly?
Hope someone can help......thanks in advance.
