Hello all,
The difficult decision has been made to part with my beautiful LM400.
She was factory built in 1997 with the standard 3.9V8 rover engine, but not registered until 2001, even then she was only registered for accounting purposes to a garage called "Aysgarth" which was the only entry on the logbook. Her original registration number being Y879XEF.
I bought her from a dealer in 2003 at which time she had only 800 miles on the clock and had never been registered to a private owner. I have since put a further 14,000 (summer only) miles under her belt.
Since buying her I have:
Replaced all suspension bushes with Poly bushes.
Fitted the approved mod to the top of the front struts (stops them from wearing away)
Fitted a Carbon fibre plenum chamber with a 2mm larger throttle port (original will also be supplied)
Upgraded the air intake funnels to shorter, fatter, carbon fibre ones
Fitted a K&N air filter
Fitted magnicore racing leads.
Had cat replacement tubes made, the cats are available, so the option is yours.
Fitted £2000 worth of alloy wheels.
Fitted Carbon fibre stone chip guards.
Asked Jem Marsh to sign the inside of the glove box door.
I need to raise £23000 from her sale, so if anyone is interested, or knows someone who might be, please feel free to contact me. She is available for immediate inspection and will come with a brand new MOT.
