Just had a query about wheel sizes for Mantarays and Mantaras and had to search for the thread so I'm posting it up here so's I can find it easier next timeThere is a thread in the for sale section on the forum about the PCD and offsets for the wheels herehttp://marcosforum.org/reply/14071#reply-14071The front and rear offsets are different - If I remember rightly the front is Peugeot and the rear is FordN.B. There is more metal on the front inside wheel hub ( to clear the front calipers)...

Hi still checking out options on the net.
l've got as far as quotes for the following spec.
215/40/17-- ET 14, and for the back 235/40/17 --ET 40.( used tyre calculators on line front wheels would be 6mm lower than back ,but still a few mm taller than the existing 15" wheels and tyres) Been all over the place sussing does and don'ts re ETs
" 5 mm accepted ", "don't use spacers", "wrong ET= worn bearings" etc.
l was thinking 3mm diff. on the front not much -do l really need 3mm spacers? Rear again 3mm (-the other way)-with wider tyres -should still virtually fit to the edge of the car--------- am l being naive ?
        Any opinions ,suggestions?

You can easily get 2 mm spacers but I'm scratching my head to remember if that makes them 2mm in the right direction. Ronnie explained how the ET was calculated in an earlier post but I'm not sure if it survived the hackers attack some time ago. 205s will work but they leave the rims a bit exposed to kerbing.

Hi----- l've been checking out wheels /tyres online and the closest ETs have been 15 and 35 ---would these be close enough or could the "2" out cause a problem with clearances etc.? Also the standard tyre sizes offered appears to be 205 wide- a bit narrow?
