A very BIG thank you to everyone who made it. It was the best display of cars I remember us having at Tatton during my tenure there. We had a full ten cars plus the rather splendid looking red Mantis of Andy's on the SP Automotive stand. Roger & Melanie Garland made a lenghty trip to ensure the Mini Marcos was represented... & to flog some left-over 50th memoribilia to us not-so-iron-willed Marcos owners (& a few punters!). The Garland sales machine is obviously a practised one & it wasn't long before I was parted from my £20 beer money!

I suppose the first point, is that we had to search for our plot - which was more of a verge. It was long and thin and with stinging nettles, and I think the award we got for the Marcos display must surely be for endeavour. My green Marcos was hard to spot in the undergrowth :

Over 2,000 Vintage and Classic cars, with up to 90 top car club displays including special events for the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club and Alvis Owners Club. Massive 2-day Auto-jumble, collectors car mart for selling or buying the car of your dreams! Lots of general trade stands, children rides and refreshments. A great family day out!

9am - 5pm. Adult £6.00, Children under 12 yrs Free. Normal Park Entry charges applies unless you are an exhibitor.
